Middlegrounds Organics

Middlegrounds Organics is where the Maine wilderness provides its bounty.  Wild blueberries are found in complex rhizomes of dozens of varieties since glaciers receded scraping the landscapes thin acidic soils.  We help you connect to nature by providing berries to wholesalers for organic wild Maine blueberry products.

Barrens are encouraged to grow wild blueberries with help of dedicated family farmers along the way.   Loaded with flavor and the highest anti-oxidants of any cultivated food wild organic blueberries are both healthy and tasty.  Support the Maine Blueberry industry and insist on small, flavorful wild Maine blueberries.

Who We Are

The Morrison family are generations of Mainers with roots in the mountains lakes and barrens of Maine.  Partnering with local farmers keeps our green economy moving forward.

Andy Morrison is a backcountry outfitter/guide who lives in Alaska summer and winter while farming in Downeast Maine in the spring and fall.  Visit the farm in late April and November to meet me or friend me on facebook , find my guiding adventures on instagram.

Cecil Gray is a blueberry farmer, bee wrangler and picking crew leader in Columbia Maine.  Volunteering for the community is core to his life, when he is not burning to regenerate our farms fields you may see him behind the wheel of an Epping Fire District truck.
